LED indicators¶

State LED¶
The State LED displays different fading or blinking patterns to indicate the device’s current state. The pattern is repeated every second.

Activity LED¶
The Activity LED illuminates when the device is performing nontrivial activities.
CAN LED¶
Devices equipped with CAN bus interfaces contain two LED indicators per CAN interface, labeled State and Data. The Data LED is an activity indicator that illuminates briefly upon either:
acknowledgement of a transmitted CAN frame;
receipt of a valid CAN frame accepted by the hardware filters.
The State LED reflects the state of the CAN controller:

Bootloader execution¶
While the bootloader is being executed, the LED indicators display a different pattern documented in the bootloader chapter.
