FluxGrip reference manual

FluxGrip is a family of solid-state electro-permanent magnets (EPM) researched, developed, and manufactured by Zubax Robotics. An EPM combines the advantages of electro- and permanent magnets by being able to switch between the on- and off-state on demand (like an electromagnet) while consuming zero power in either state (like a permanent magnet). With the help of splitting payload adapters, FluxGrip can be used to hold arbitrary non-ferromagnetic payloads.

Danger

High voltage. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify FluxGrip devices to avoid the risk of an electric shock.
